YOUR FIRST ROUND IS ON US!
So you think you want to give Disc Golf a shot, but don’t know where to start? Well, the Flyboy Fly Guide team is here to help. Our volunteers are ready to take you and your group out for your first round to see if Disc Golf is for you.
– No discs are required as we have them for you to borrow for your round.
– No need to feel intimidated. Our team is made up of beginners to advanced. This is not a class or a skill lesson. We are just here to get a disc in your hand, show you the basic types of throws, explain the objective and supply the basic rules of the game.
– You will have our undivided attention. Your Flyboy Fly Guide member will never suggest you come and join club or league night for your first round – unless you make that request specifically. We are here to make sure your first round is played at your speed and in your own time.
– There is no cost whatsoever, unless you are wanting to try your round at a pay to play course.
– Your Flyboy Fly Guide member will give you all the details regarding proper attire and safety precautions for the course agreed upon. Additionally, as many courses have play through the woods, they will inform you of the course design in advance so you can decide if it fits your personal comfort level.
– Minors should be accompanied by adults.
– The Disc Golfers Code applies to all rounds.
